
Matt Wheatley
Matt Wheatley has been working in the beverage alcohol industry for over a decade, focusing on spirits production. He worked his way through a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry while bartending on nights and weekends. Starting his career at Brown-Forman in quality control he transitioned to Wild Turkey Distillery holding the same role. He was promoted to Distillery Supervisor where he drove quality and efficiency for 5 years. He joined the Six Mile Creek project in 2021as Distillery Manager. He is now the Head Distiller and Distillery Manager for Heaven’s Door Distillery.Matt is the head of distillery operations on-site with pivotal roles in blending, product-development, and designing the new Heaven’s Door Distillery expansion
